The Erie March will take place this year on the day following the inauguration of our new pro-life President, Donald J. Trump and our new pro-life Vice-president, Mike Pence. The March will also take place on a day when pro-abortion marches and rallies in protest of the new administration are expected to take place. Please march to show you are comitted to supporting our new President's "Vision for a Culture of Life" for our nation. Help put all pro-life government officials on notice that now is the time for pro-life action and pro-life progress; now is the time to fight for the human right to life with maximum effort. Please don't let the news on January 21 be dominated by angry pro-abortion extremists who will be protesting in Washington, DC and around the country. Everyone who is able to walk is strongly encouraged to do so, but those who would have difficulty walking the distance are encouraged to ride in the motorcade that will follow the marchers. The March will get underway from Perry Square in downtown Erie at 11 a.m. Parade marshals will stage vehicles for the motorcade beginning at 10:30 a.m. The vehicles will line up on the south side of Perry Square along South Park Row. Marchers should assemble at the new Pavilion in west Perry Square by 10:45 a.m. Parking will be available in the parking garage on Peach St. between 7th and 8th Sts. and in the lots just east of Perry Square on French St. Please remember to dress for winter weather and be sure to wear good, non-slip footwear, just in case you encounter any icy spots during the March. At 11:00 a.m., the March will proceed west on W. 6th St., south on Sassafras St., east on W. 10th St., and north on State St. back to Perry Square, where there will be a brief Pro-Life Rally.
