A known abortionist, Jerry Applegate was first observed at Dr. Steven Brigham's American Women's Services of Erie abortion facility on October 17, 2003.

(November 2, 2003) Another gentleman who has frequently been seen at American Women's Services of Erie on abortion days bears a striking resemblance to Dr. Harvey Walter Brookman of Yardley, PA. Brookman has allegedly carried out abortions at Brigham's abortion facility in King of Prussia, PA, which is currently shut down due to zoning violations. Dr. Brookman's license to practice medicine in the State of New York was revoked in 1996. Brookman was disciplined by the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners for unprofessional conduct. His license to practice medicine in New Jersey was suspended and then voluntarily surrendered. Brookman was sued in 2001 for an allegedly failed abortion involving his failure to diagnose an ectopic, tubal pregnancy.
