Demonstation Today
New Office in Professional Building

People for Life will join with other members of the community to conduct a public demonstration today, Monday, August 14, 2000 from Noon to 1:00 PM to oppose the opening of an abortion facility in Erie. The demonstration will take place at the Professional Building, 1611 Peach St., Erie. Ads in the local Yellow Pages indicate that Dr. Steven Brigham intends carry out abortions up to the SEVENTH MONTH at this location. This will be the 87th scheduled demonstration at the Professional Building in which People for Life has participated.

We understand that, in addition to these scheduled demonstrations, certain individuals have been picketing at the Professional Building on their own initiative at various other times, especially during the past two or three weeks. People for Life expects to begin furnishing its new branch office at the Professional Building later this week. There is now a sign outside our new office which bears our name and identifies the unit as Suite 321. There is also an entry for People for Life in the main building directory on the first floor and in the directory on the wall opposite the elevators on the third floor.
