Demonstration

The Saturday demonstration at the Professional Building (the site of Erie's pending abortion business) will take place, as usual, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Because Peach Street is closed, only the State Street side of the building will be picketed. This will be demonstration #196 since October 1999.

Last Saturday, 45 people participated. This was a larger than usual turnout because of a special "Empty Stroller Day" demonstration. About half the people pushed empty strollers to illustrate the simple reality of abortion.

While some people adjudge the issue of abortion to be "deep," "complex," and otherwise very obscure, we see it by and large as a matter of common sense: "Live baby good; dead baby bad." To attempt to prove otherwise, we concede, is no simple task.

People for Life, Inc. is an all-volunteer, non-profit, citizen's organization committed to affirming the intrinsic value of human life. People for Life is dedicated to advancing true justice by working for the protection of all innocent human lives, whatever the age, race, sex, physical condition, economic status, or place of residence (including the womb). People for Life encourages local involvement through education, political awareness, and the promotion of loving alternatives to the primitive and violent "solutions" of abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia. Together, we can create a society in which all human lives are held sacred.
